Donate
Family and Children’s Services relies on monetary donations from private individuals. When you donate to FACS, you help your neighbors living in poverty. Donations are used across all of our program offerings, and especially for the following, which would not exist without the generous support of community members:
Good Mental Health is for Everyone Fund
This program allows us to provide sliding scale mental health counseling for un-insured or underinsured individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and related issues. Recipients typically pay between $0 and $15 per session with a licensed mental health clinician.
Holiday Gift Drive
Each year, FACS provides toys and gifts to hundreds of children and their families. Funded 100% by private donations of items, as well as funds used to purchase items, this initiative makes the holidays brighter for your less fortunate neighbors.
School Supply & Backpack Drive
Children receiving services through our programs are provided with backpacks full of supplies every September. We need private donations of items and funds to ensure no child starts school empty-handed.
Volunteer
Family and Children’s Services welcomes community members who would like to help us in our mission of building hope and healing trauma to strengthen families and communities. Volunteers can help in the following ways:
Organize a Fundraiser
Volunteers can organize bowling nights, cocktail parties, dance-a-thons, and more to raise awareness and funds to support Family and Children’s Services programs. The only limit is your imagination!
Share Your Expertise
FACS seeks individuals and groups of people to help us in a variety of ways. Do you have a talent for creating videos on social media? Can your green thumb help us beautify the landscapes at our facilities? Let us know!
Join Us on the Red Carpet!
Our largest fundraiser is our Red Carpet Party. Featuring a fashion show, handbag raffle, and fabulous cuisine and cocktails, this event is a great time that makes a big impact on our ability to serve our clients. We need sponsorships as well as attendees at this annual event – so please join us!
